Nikola sold 72 hydrogen-powered trucks to North American customers in Q2 2024

The American fuel cell truck manufacturer’s customers include major companies such as Walmart Canada, logistics company IMC, or Ai Logistics, which has ordered a full fleet of 100 fuel cell trucks, and has been steadily increasing sales this year. In fact, the second-quarter sales figure is double the 40 units sold in the first quarter of 2024. That means that during the first half of 2024, Nikola sold 112 hydrogen fuel cell trucks wholesale. However, the developer also notes that “Nikola has not completed its quarterly review process or prepared its financial statements for the second quarter ended June 30, 2024,” so more information will follow soon.

“We’ve maintained our momentum for 2024 with strong wholesale numbers, new customers like Walmart Canada, and repeat customers like 4GEN and IMC, who are purchasing vehicles through our dealer network,” said Steve Girsky, Nikola CEO. “We’re solid in the field and continue to secure the leadership advantage in Class 8 zero-emission trucks in North America, as well as our HYLA hydrogen refueling solutions.”
