Remee Wire & Cable, a leading manufacturer of electronic wire and cable, has announced the expansion of its PowerPipe™ cable range with the addition of a series of new CL4Z rated multi-pair copper cables for OSP (Outdoor Installations), direct burial and wet location applications. These PowerPipe™ distribution cables are now available as part of Remee’s larger line of Activate™ powered cable solutions.
New PowerPipe™ Class 4 fault-resistant power distribution cables are rated CL4Z and certified to UL 1400-2.
The new PowerPipe™ cables are rated at 450 volts and include a variety of conductor pairs and gauge sizes. This new line includes a selection of cables with 1, 2, 3, 4, 6 and 8 pair conductors in 18, 16 or 14 AWG sizes. All conductors are made of stranded copper, and the cables feature insulation and jackets that are resistant to sunlight, moisture and chemicals.
