With one million new passenger vehicles added to the roads in November, China has so far added a total of 9.61 million new units so far this year, an increase of 41 percent compared to the same period last year.

New energy vehicles also accounted for 52% of all new passenger vehicle sales in China in November, and just over 47% since the beginning of the year.

Wholesale sales of new passenger vehicles also rose in November, reaching 1.476 million units, up 53 percent from a year earlier and up 6 percent from October.

In the first 11 months of 2024, the wholesale sale of new passenger cars reached 10.75 million units, up 39 percent over the same period of the previous year.
