Zekr (NYSE: ZK) witnessed a significant decrease in deliveries last month, similar to a number of other local electric car makers (EV) affected by seasonal factors.
The company delivered 11,942 cars in January, a decrease of 4.75 percent from 12,537 in the same month last year and reduced 56.08 percent from 27,190 in December, according to the data issued today.
The cumulative delivery of Zeekr by the end of January was 430,698 vehicles.
In the Chinese auto market, it is usually the beginning of the year, especially the month in which the new Chinese New Year waterfalls are the low delivery point, while the end of the year is usually the high point.
This year, the Chinese New Year holiday was from January 28 to February 4.
Zekr was founded in March 2021 and issued its first model in April 2021, and Zeekr 001 Brake.
In addition to Zekr 001, the company’s models offered for sale Zekr 007 sedan, Zeekr 009 MPV (multi -purpose vehicle), Zeekr X Compact SUV (sports facilities vehicle), Zeekr 7X SUV, and Zekr Mix Min Van.

NIO (NYSE: NIO) delivered 13,863 units in January, an increase of 37.87 percent of 10,055 a year ago, but 55.48 percent fell out of 3,1138 in December.
Li Auto (Nasdaq: Li) delivered 29,927 cars in January, a decrease of 48.85 percent from 58,513 in December and reduced 3.97 percent of 31,165 a year ago.
Xpeng (NYSE: XPEV) delivered 30,350 cars in January, a decrease of 17.29 percent from 36,695 in December, while 267.88 percent rose from 8,250 a year ago.
Leapmotor (HKG: 9863) delivered 25,170 cars in January, a decrease of 40.8 percent from 42,517 December, while 105.02 percent rose from 18,618 a year ago.
