Kia launches its first electric car, PV5, later this year. If you like what appeared in the pictures, wait for you to see it in real life. PV5 production was discovered in Korea for the first time, giving us a closer look at the future truck. Watch it yourself in the video below.
I monitored the first electric car in Kia in Korea
After disturbing what appeared forever, Kia finally removed the papers from the PV5 at the event on 2025 EV last month.
Thanks to its upcoming future design, PV5 is a replica of the concept shown in CES last January. The medium -sized electric truck is scheduled to start from the new Kia Beyond Confere (PBV).
The PV5 will initially be available in CAB settings for passengers, goods and structure, but with “unprecedented flexibility”, you can expect to see more options soon. Two of the first will be the PV5 crew, with additional cargo insurance options and a “WAV) vehicle version (WAV) that can be accessed in a wheelchair.

Next, Kia will follow with Drop Side, Box Van, Freezer, Box and Prime. It plans to release the light vehicle conversion.
With the start of sales in the second half of 2025, the Kia electric car was seen in Korea for the first time without camouflage. A new video from Healertv gives us a better idea of what can be expected when PV5 hits agents later this year.
PV5 maintains its artistic design, almost before time. Two colors of the external body: white, gray or black darker. As the reporter notes, it appears actually an upgrade from the concept.
Kia did what it could be in the back so that it does not look like a bus, giving it more general shape. You can see how you stand regardless of most MPVs you see today.
Like Volkswagen Id.buzz, Kia’s PV5 looks like mechanics. With a length of 4,695 mm, 1895 mm width, and 1899 mm length, the length of the KIA is a little smaller than the European identifier (4,712 mm long, 1985 mm width, and 1937 mm).
It will be available with 51.5 kW battery packages per hour and 71.2 kW per hour, and it is good for the WLTP group of 400 km (249 miles). PV5 can also have fast fees (10 % to 80 %) in about 30 minutes. Compared, supported by a 84 kW battery, ID.Buzz now provides up to 293 miles.
KIA will launch sales in Korea and Europe later this year, followed by other global markets in 2026. Preparation will be opened soon, so check prices.
