Xiaomi SU7 “is activated when the range decreases to less than 50 km

Xiaomi presented “high power saving mode” in their cars. This mode is activated by disrupting the features of the driver’s assistance, limiting or turning off air conditioning, heating the seats, and other comfort functions, as well as restricting the maximum speed and the car acceleration in general. These measures are taken to reduce energy consumption and increase range.

When the remaining rest of the car decreases to less than 50 km, a popup window will appear with settings and interpretations on the central control screen, allowing users to choose whether the high -energy saving mode will be activated. This mode can also be activated or abolished at any time during the drive. Users can access this feature through the settings in the control bar at the central screen by navigating to driving preferences> Ultra -energy saving mode.

Once activated, the following car functions will be restricted:

The maximum speed is limited to 90 km/h; The system determines a separate response to the economic power to control the torque product more smooth; Limited air conditioning performance (low air flow and strength); The steering wheel is stopped. Seat heating and ventilation, as well as other comfort functions, are disabled; The surrounding lighting is stopped. Heating the external rear vision mirror and the rear window heated; Smart driving assistance functions and parking are disabled; Entertainment, environmental services and guard mode are turned off; The 12V DC power port is separated in the car; Control of the electric rear spoiler is disabled; The smart refrigerator is turned off on the plane.

After stimulating the high -energy saving mode through the pop -up central control, the car will automatically remove this situation once the estimated shipping range exceeds 300 km. During this mode, users can increase the speed of transgression shortly by deep pressure on the acceleration pedal.

In addition, Xiaomi discuss the subject of disabling cameras. The car features a camera between the wheel and the instrument screen to discover the driver’s fatigue or distraction behaviors such as closing eyes, head of the head, yawning, or using a mobile phone. Upon discovering such behaviors, the system will alert the driver through audio advertisements and windows emerging on the central control screen to ensure safe driving practices.

Officially, the system does not implement the provisions and reminder of local behavior only, and the image data is not recorded or externally. If users do not request a driver alert/distraction alert function, they can disable them in the “Settings” menu – “driving preferences” on the central control. Users also have the option to disable the camera directly in the vehicle’s deposit management settings.
