EVS accusation | Electrovaya gets a Li-ion $ 4.2 million battery arrangement for use in cold storage warehouses

Electrovaya, a developer and manufacturer of the industry lithium -ion batteries, has received a new request from a long -time repeat buyer.

This request, which is worth $ 4.2 million, is for batteries for use in the customer’s cold storage warehouses, which provided orders for more than $ 13 million over its relationship to the Oraravaya.

The new battery system will be used to operate electric cars in the processing of materials in cold storage warehouses.

The customer currently runs six warehouses that use the Infinity Battery technology in Electrovaya, a battery management system that has been developed at home and is now in the fifth generation. This allows Toronto, based in Ontario, to customize the BMS for specific application requirements and unique features of Electrovaya batteries.

It is important to note that the operating environment of this particular customer is a harsh and especially superior. The cold temperatures in the refrigerated warehouses reduce the time of the operation of the electric fork using standard pulse batteries.

The cold storage warehouse is a large, cooled building designed to store goods in an environment below the surrounding external temperature. Companies that sell and distribute fruits, vegetables, meat, fish and dairy products require cold storage facilities, and most of these elements in the cooled trucks as well. The wonderful stores have been an essential component in the shipping industry since the late nineteenth century, and the origins of the industry can be tracked to Christian Salvisen, the worker of the humble Scottish whales company that expanded his work to include a great store in Grimsby, then a major port.
