The report indicated that the new energy maker (NEV) submitted discounts for merchants at early last year, at the same rate of 666 yuan per vehicle.
The brief report did not provide more details.
In a report in January 2024, Yicai said that BYD was expected to reward merchants who have two billion rupees after achieving a sales goal in 2023, which is 3 million cars.
As for the stores that have achieved its sales targets, the BYD will be given 666 yuan for each vehicle sold, according to the Yicai report last year.
The report said that most BYD stores in China have achieved its sales targets.
In 2024, BYD sold 4,272,145 cars, representing an annual basis of 41.26 percent.
If BYD is to provide a 666 -yuan discount for per vehicle sold by merchants, the total amount will reach about 2.8 billion yuan.
The company said at an investor meeting on March 27, 2024, that it expects its annual sales to grow for 2024 by more than 20 percent compared to 2023.
This means that BYD expected to sell more than 3.63 million cars in 2024, given that it sold 3,024,417 NEVS in 2023.
In March of this year, the Board of Directors of BYD and President Wang Chuanfo said that the goal of vehicle sales in the company 2025 was 5.5 million units, including more than 800,000 units of foreign markets.
Compared to 4,272,145 vehicles sold in 2024, this total goal is about 29 percent. The goal of sales abroad is 92 percent over 417,204 vehicles sold in 2024.
