EVS accusation | Elaphe reveals the Sonic X engine in the wheels for high -performance EVS

Elaphe Propulsion Technologies has announced the new Sonic X In-Wheel electric platform, which is designed for high-performance electric and hybrid structure with a limited space on the plane. Sonic X adds up to 300 kW to a peak (200 kW continuous) for each wheel with an additional weight of only 25 kg (55 pounds), and is within standard edges of 20 to 23 inches. Elaphe says this approach reduces the weight of power generation by 40 % compared to the traditional double electronic axis system.

The engines are characterized by direct transmission -free engines associated with silicone caricloma transformers on the plane in one or double -unit package. The platform includes the high -speed control program from Elaphe directly inside the inverter to deal with the operation of the electric motor, the wheel slide management, the brake mixing, and the optional torque. For integration in hybrid compositions, the program can provide mechanical differential control.

Elaphe says that the high -speed traction control program can provide 15 % of improved acceleration and brake performance and allow 5 % faster turnings compared to traditional designs. The system accommodates large friction brakes (350 to 420 mm) and uses high -energy brake mixing technology to improve brake performance and shorter stops compared to friction brakes alone.

The Sonic X platform will support the height of the axis of up to 1 megawatts and a peak axis of torque of up to 9000 nm in rear -wheel drive applications. Integrated Figure-10 % of the imprint of traditional designs with a high-performance electronic axis-the applications where the interior space is limited.

Car manufacturers can get samples from Sonic X engine starting from the first quarter of 2026.
