We recently spent a week with Chevy Blazer EV SS. It is a high -performance sports version of medium -sized Chevrolet cars. Below is a final video summary of our ideas about Blazer EV SS, then our regular written review of the electric car that was divided by:

External efficiency and interior information scope

Enjoy the review, and tell us if you have any other questions or ideas about the electrical SUVs.

Outside

Although it is a medium -sized SUV, the EV SS Chevrolet SS has a very sporty design that makes it look less than it is and more than one of the SUVs at times. There is a trick to play with colors, but it works well and looks good. Along the bottom of the car’s body, it is black instead of reddish orange (“habanero orange”) for the main part of the body. The frame around the windows at the top of the car is also black, making it again look shorter and less than it is.

In addition, the orange part of the body and black parts meets not flat straight lines. These are a zigzag limits that again add a great look. Then there is a sharp pattern that resembles the cat and the headlights, and the black claw -like design elements towards the front part of the jacket that approaches the front wheels, and the wonderful and future rear lights, which have a pleasure effect when charging.

The headlights also have a very great effect during shipping, as shown in this video.

We had a lot of people smiling with enthusiasm and conspiracies when they saw us with Chef Blazer EV SS. Everyone seemed to have a positive response to the striking car.

Efficiency and extent

I did not make any detailed and independent measurements of electricity used in every miles driven, as the best review of vehicles from the perspective of the “ordinary person”. However, it was actually shocked by the extent of the retained jacket in the range and time that continued before the need for shipment. We receive 2019 Tesla Model 3 SR+ every two days. With the EV SS jacket, though, we went a week ago before we needed to ship it! Until then, it was not really necessary to be shipped, as it was about 40 % of the fees. I just accused it because the men who led him from the other side of Florida for us were coming to receive him and hope that I would receive it for them so that they would not have to stop at a quick charger.

I used Chevy Blazer EV SS every day of the week to bring my daughter and young wife to school/primary work, then brought my older daughter to middle school, then took her all in the afternoon. We also led us 20-30 minutes (11-14 miles) north to the ice ski circuit, then we returned twice in our time with EV, including some time on the highway. Then there were also regular grocery store projects, tennis, etc. We have done a lot of driving. However, starting from the full charge over 300 miles, we had no fees for a week.

It is worth noting: the car was not parked in a garage at all. It was parked in the sun in the southwest of Florida. This heats the car, of course, which requires more air conditioning and battery cooling. If our Tesla is parked outside the garage for a week, we will definitely see a successful group. I still shocked somewhat the amount of the jacket that endured its shipment.

Oh, with regard to the group: I have shipped Chevy Blazer EV SS immediately after receiving it and the screen showed behind the steering wheel of 303 miles. After a week, when I charged it up to 100 % again, I showed 320 miles of the range. It seems that the car program should reach its scope estimates based on the recent driving – how you were driving efficiently. It is logical that it will appear much less after men who were driving the jacket were highly for a few hours throughout the state compared to after I was driving my car in Daddy Duty with it in the suburbs for a week.

Interior

The interior was nice, as the seats were a mixture of false leather and a kind of soft sports material. It has also been ventilated, which is always nice in the hot and steam. My children loved the additional legs space and put a higher seat in the back seat of the Blazer EV SS compared to Tesla Model 3. In general, I think it is what you expect from medium -sized EV – nothing is very special, but nothing should complain about.

Of course, as you see very clearly in the photos and videos, the seat belts were orange, as well as some sewing. We loved the pleasant color accents. Our favorite friend is orange and it was very very.

There is also a red option – you can compare the pictures below – if you are in red.

We loved gray and black with orange accents ….

The front center control unit was fine, albeit not my favorite design and orientation. The air ventilation holes were great – we loved these, and we preferred them to a large extent over the AC Thingie tape that we have in Tesla Model 3. It was much easier to make the air blowing well on my chest without detonating the air in my eyes. I thought it looks very great, including at night when the surrounding lighting was running.

There is an unlimited color choice for that surrounding lighting.

In general, I liked the front interior design. The only thing that was a little stopped is cheap plastic in a few places, such as the glove box. Nevertheless, I think this is the difference between Chevrolet and Cadillac.

Information and entertainment

I was completely affected by the information and entertainment screen. It was great but not overwhelming. The user interface was great, and very intuitive most of the time. The pictures were clear and well designed. It was easy to find most things, and even when it took some time, the nesting was already logical – it was just something used to. The navigation system was great, and the display of the screen really helped in it.

I loved HUD (head width). You can customize what is included there, the bright range, and where it appears. It is useful not to keep your eyes away from the way to check the maximum speed – it is actually something you need with how quickly and soothe the EV SS jacket. If you don’t like HUD, you can also turn it off. The only time I think I will extinguish while driving at night, because it was very bright and attention to me after that.

The rear vision mirror contains the option of the camera instead. Initially, I found that it is really difficult to use – you will feel my own eyes and will hurt my head in an attempt to look at it, but I think that is because of a kind of difference in perception of depth and brain wire, because I used to it after a day or two and then preferred this most of the time! It was very clear and made it easier to see things behind you. Once again, it was the time that I found it worse at night, when the cars were behind me mainly with the headlights. But it was very easy to turn it down and use the regular back vision mirror, as you can see in the video below.

I fully liked to width the bird’s eye on the backup, which can also be displayed at any time. This is definitely an advantage I wish I had on Tesla.

In general, information and entertainment options were really good. The only things that I can really wish are integration with YouTube, Espn+, Disney+, Netflix, etc. Perhaps in the coming years. Oh, yes, and some video games will be nice.

shipping

In fact, I don’t have much to say about shipping. It is easy. Shipping is usually easy. At home, on level 2 level charging, it is charged … very quickly enough. I mean, I can’t even play here and try to compare charging speeds for the various EVS. It takes a few seconds and a few seconds to separate it. The comfort of home charging is an enormous feature of electric cars, and this applies to Chevy Blazer EV SS as well as the other EVS. Whether the jacket receives faster or slower fees than Tesla Model 3 or other EVS, I have no idea, because it does not matter – I don’t stand outside the car I watch. You should enter a kind of extreme edge condition for home charging speed, especially on level 2 charger, for charges.

As far as fast charging, I did not test this. However, the MAX car charging power is 190 kW, and it is able to add up to 78 miles of the range in about 10 minutes in good conditions. This is a world of difference a decade ago, and it is very fast for normal use.

Driving

There are many drive settings that you can use to find the right drive for you. Personally, I love the quality of sports driving, the strong, renewed brazen (to a complete stop, which is allowed by the EV SS jacket), and a silent power tension (there are no fake engine sounds). I love driving a sedan-for example-and I am not at all attracted to drive highly popular road monsters now (large SUVs, Sudan huge SUVs, and capture trucks). Get a sports SUV test, I wasn’t sure of what I was in. Do I like that, or will he feel big and high? Is it worth trying to make the SUV medium in size fast and sports?

Well, yes, I loved him! I paid a car more than I expected. Certainly, it’s not a sedan, but the acceleration and dealing was better than I expected from the SUV. It was very fast – so much that you really need to see the distance meter – that was fun and sometimes useful. But she still feels control and ability.

The car was soft and calm, and one expects a well -made SUV. It was comfortable, and I couldn’t think much about him to say in terms of NitPicking. If this is the style of the car you prefer and you have money in the bank to spend on the Chevrolet EV SS, you must buy it. You will love it.

If you prefer to drive for you, the GM’s Super Cruise feature is available on certain ways. I found that she worked on the highway near me, and she worked well. She stayed in the corridor well, trampled traffic well, and changing the corridor well. Of course, it does not push you from the car park to the parking lot, but it is going well on its own on the highway.

total

This section is difficult. I feel I really said everything. I recommend watching a brief review video above (and also below), the first video of the impressions below, and videos on the technology features of the vehicle and the quality of the above -mentioned driving.

In general, what I can say is that it is EV in general with many strong claims, great and useful features and the right balance between size and sports. You can get medium -sized four -wheel drive vehicles and all the space that comes with that, while you are also able to enjoy the quality of the car engine and a serious sporty pleasure.

I think the downside is that it is not cheap. Chevy Blazer EV SS starts from $ 57,595. Start adding options and the price can rise several thousand dollars, of course. However, hey, if you have got money, I say it is worth it!

Of course, if you are considering getting one of this now, do it as soon as possible! Get the car before the end of September 30 and you can take advantage of the US tax credit before its expiration.
