With the spring, which was launched in 2021, Dacia wanted one thing above all: to offer European clients an affordable entry point on the electronic ability that was in line with the brand image. However, the model, which was manufactured by the Dongfeng cooperation partner in Wuhan, China, asked buyers to make some settlements in the first years-not only in terms of quality, but also in terms of comfort, performance and technology of the car.
A maximum of 225 km, the spring was not completely designed for long distances. The fast charging function was only available as an option for the highest -range version, and until then, the maximum charging power was only 30 kW. The release of the basic drive from the small car takes nearly 20 seconds to reach 100 km per hour.
In the spring of 2024, a low -budget company Renault presented a wide -to -recognition cosmetic company and also represents a major step forward in terms of quality. As part of the renovation, Dacia also reduced the entry price from 22,750 euros to 16,900 euros. However, this did not change the modest performance data and almost that of almost non -existent.
In recent years, this may be acceptable in the high -cost income level level, but in sectors A and B, competitors’ models are more and more gradually come to the market. For example, Hyundai Inster is a little more expensive, but also provides more cars for your money.
Additional power is especially noticeable during acceleration
Dacia confirms that its only pure electricity is still selling well, as 17,000 units have been sold so far this year. However, the Roman brand now responds to increased competitive pressure and has unveiled a comprehensive technical update for the spring, which is not expected to affect prices.
The most important noticeable changes in the drive system. Dacia gradually gets rid of previous drives 33 and 48 kW and replace them with two new units that offer 52 and 75 kW, respectively. Dacia has not yet published zero to 100 km per hour for the engines, but the additional power is expected to have a particularly positive effect on medium -term acceleration. According to the manufacturer, the new version of beginners with 52 kW accelerates from 80 to 120 km per hour 10.3 seconds, while the previous basic release took 26.2 seconds to do so.
When the 75 -kW drive system is equipped, which is only available in conjunction with maximum pieces from the top, on the front axis, and the shape is reduced to 6.9 seconds. This makes the new version 7.1 seconds faster than the previous spring with 48 kW in this discipline, which means that the time has been done half. This means that the fresh spring can be in confidence on the highway – but you still do not want to cover longer distances with it, as the maximum WLTP range remains modest at 225 km.
To this end, Dacia has increased the maximum dc charging power from 30 to 40 kW as part of the redesign. Ideally, charging should take 20 to 80 percent 29 minutes. This will be about a quarter of an hour less than before. With alternately a stream, the maximum charging power is 7 kW. At urban charging stations or at home using a wall box, the new battery can be charged from 20 to 100 percent in 3 hours and 20 minutes. Previously, this process took four hours.
The new battery in the spring is responsible for this improvement. The small car is the first model of the Renault collection, which features a LFP battery at the bottom, with a capacity of 24.3 kWh. You are not supposed to receive this just faster, but also more durable, safer and cheaper. It has been developed centrally in enhanced housing, which improves weight distribution and increases hardness.
The handling is to become safer
However, technical changes not only affect the battery and the platform itself. Dacia has also improved the brake streaks, which should shorten the braking distance in the event of an emergency. In addition, the spring now comes with the installation bar as a standard for the first time, which increases stability when turning. The manufacturer followed the same goal when setting shock absorbers and springs.
Power content for the new LFP battery is slightly lower than the previous NMC battery. The fact that the range remained as it is due to the seizure in terms of air dynamics. The new panels are designed to reduce air disorder, while the small rear spoiler reduces the disorder over the rear door. This greatly reduced the SCX value, which is the product of the clouds and the front area. According to Dacia, it decreased from 0.745 to 0.660 square meters.
However, the renewed spring is not the only electric innovation of Dacia. On October 6, the brand also revealed a “loving” concept car. According to those officials, the simple car aims to provide a glimpse of the “car car” in the future, and as it reduces the basics, it symbolizes the Dacia brand values.
“This is the most project that I have ever worked on. It has the same social impact in which Logan has occurred 20 years ago. It involves inventing something that does not exist today,” said Roman Jovin, who is responsible for the design of conceptual car and innovative design studies at Renault.
The lover is only three meters, 1.53 meters high and 1.55 meters wide. Thanks to its square dimensions, almost the wandering and vertical windows, it provides four full -sized seats and a lot of luggage space on this relatively small fingerprint. Depending on the composition, the boot can carry between 70 and 500 liters. The last value is available when the rear seat is flat.
The rear door is divided into two parts and opens to detect a huge boot space-fold the bottom like a pick-up truck, which makes load easier. When the rear door is lifted, the posterior lights remain on top. The rear window also works as a cover for the lights, which reduces the number of ingredients and thus production costs as well.
Cou European
Basically, a cube -shaped small car is a European interpretation of Kei cars that are popular in Japan, which is also very compressed but amazingly wide. Interestingly, John Elcan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Renault Stellantis competitor, recently stressed in an interview with the need for Kei Ca, such as concepts to ensure individual movement at reasonable prices in Europe in the electrical era. The manager hopes to create a new category for small electric cars at reasonable prices. Renault also calls for a decrease in the European Union for small electric cars, as high requirements keep the prices of new cars relatively high.
Dacia Hipster aims to be an alternative to current electric cars, which contain technology and is often relatively expensive but heavy as well. The concept car is expected to be 20 percent lighter than the Dacia Spring, which weighs more than a ton when empty. By getting rid of the bells and unnecessary lashes, not only costs can be kept, but also carbon fingerprint. According to Dacia, the fans’ imprint is expected to be about half of the most suitable electricity cars for the current climate in the market.
A large touch -touch cockpit is not dominated – instead, the dashboard was intentionally kept. The Romanian car manufacturer follows its philosophy “Bring your device” – not only the smartphone as a car key, but also becomes the screening and entertainment screen via the at -station. The simple Bluetooth speaker is as a sound system, while the side windows slide instead of lowering them electricly. Classic door handles are replaced by rings.
One of the main differences between the lover and other electrical lighting compounds already in the market, such as Opel Rocks, is the standard pillow of the dowry, which provides a certain degree of negative safety. The front seats are combined in a seat seat and have a fabric visual frame. Although it is more than a shorter meter than the classic Sandero, it is said that the lover provides more space and rest in the front row like her big brother. The study can be explained as a preview of a cheaper spring.
