Following the recent launch of the AC-90 Bio Multi-Function Oil (Action Can), we spoke to Michel Ion, Marketing Director EMEA, CRC Industries, to discover the reasons behind the development of the new solution and its versatility.
Q: Why did you launch the new AC-90 Bio Multi-Function Oil?
We know that trade professionals need tools they can rely on, including sprayers. We also recognize that both merchants and their customers increasingly recognize the importance of reducing their environmental impact.
AC-90 Bio is one of a number of products launched under the Green Force platform. Formulated to meet the same long-trusted performance of the original AC-90, but with an easily biodegradable formula (OECD 301B > 60%) to help reduce environmental impact.
Q: What are the main features of AC-90 Bio?
AC-90 Bio is a true multi-functional oil. It displaces moisture, lubricates, penetrates and releases, protects against rust, as well as being an easily biodegradable formula. AC-90 Bio is also silicone-free, so it can be used where surfaces can be treated afterwards.
Question: Tell us more about the “Green Force” product range.
Green Force is a sustainable initiative (reducing environmental impact through verifiable standards), combining products that meet customers’ growing needs to reduce environmental impact and improve user safety, while delivering the premium quality and high performance customers have come to expect from Action Can.
Q: How does the 2-in-1 spray system help with application?
Our TwinSpray system features two positions: up for precision jet application, down for standard spraying, allowing the user more control over the application. There’s a safety stopper to stop accidental splashes and a fixed straw, so you’ll never search for a lost straw again.
S. Do you have any tips to share to help users get the most out of the AC-90 Bio?
As well as being a multi-functional oil, AC-90 Bio can also be used to clean and remove light rust from surfaces. It can be sprayed on truck door hinges to prevent and stop squeaks and will also protect your tools from dirt and corrosion while not in use.
