EspenEV, an electric vehicle charger brand from Espen Technology, has announced the launch of its 40kW and 60kW Level 3 DC fast chargers. The 40kW unit is the first 40kW DCFC charger with simultaneous dual DC charging capability.
Both the 40kW and 60kW models come standard with the multi-standard Combined Charging System (CCS). If required, both models can also be equipped with a NACS connector. These DCFC models can operate in both grid and standalone configurations, and both models can support smart charging and load balancing. Both models can perform user authentication.
“The new 40kW and 60kW DCFC chargers combine the best of Level 3 chargers with the ability to charge simultaneously,” said Flemming Jensen, senior vice president of sales and marketing at Espen Technology.
