McDowell Technical Community College has opened registration for its Residential Electrical 1 course beginning Monday, February 12th.
McDowell Technical Community College is located in Marion, North Carolina.
This comprehensive electrical curriculum will prepare students to work as qualified professionals in the electrical field, the community college said in the course description. Additionally, he explains, the program focuses on safe work practices, while also covering applied electrical theory and residential, commercial, and industrial electrical knowledge and skills.

National Electrical Code® coverage is integrated throughout the school to ensure students are prepared as competent electricians, as the curriculum states.
Likewise, the four-level electrification program aligns theory and practice with U.S. Department of Labor standards.
Students must attend classes on Fridays and Saturdays in order to complete the number of hours required to obtain the certificate.
