Lightwave partners with London Stadium to achieve NetZero goals

Lightwave is proud to partner with London Stadium as an energy management solutions provider. The partnership focuses on measuring, controlling and managing energy consumption from small energy devices throughout the stadium and directly contributing to the stadium’s move towards NetZero.

Through the partnership, Lightwave has installed more than 600 devices to control television displays, beverage and water refrigerators, and space heaters throughout the facility. Using our advanced monitoring software and live data to identify savings opportunities, energy use has been reduced by over 60% for Lightwave controlled devices.

The installation of the Lightwave solution was implemented in just over one month from signing, with no operational impact on the stadium’s busy schedule of events. Alan Skewes, Head of Capital Projects at London Stadium, commented: “Lightwave has performed extremely well on its commitments and we look forward to partnering with them in the coming months and years to deliver further energy efficiency initiatives at London Stadium.”

Lightwave specializes in smart energy management solutions for clients across a variety of sectors. As businesses face increasing pressure to meet energy efficiency and carbon reduction goals and as the cost of energy increases, Lightwave solutions provide innovative ways to monitor and control usage.

Lightwave’s intuitive and innovative management portal provides a comprehensive overview of on-site energy consumption, providing real-time data, allowing customers to monitor, manage and optimize energy use across their entire operations. Furthermore, the portal serves as a powerful reporting tool that not only displays historical data, but provides savings against the underlying usage and impact of Lightwave smart energy solutions over time.
