Environmental responsibility is an increasingly necessary aspect. The planned programs and procedures are very important for the future. It aims to achieve the inventory of the entire carbon building by 2050, energy performance contributes directly to the EPBD) directly to the energy and climate targets in the European Union.
The main energy consumer
Buildings are the largest energy consumer in Europe. Consequently, the construction and energy performance sector for buildings is crucial to achieving global energy and climate goals. 85 % of the European Union buildings were built before 2000 and between these buildings, 75 % have a weak energy performance. Consequently, work on energy efficiency for buildings is essential to saving energy, reducing bills for citizens and small institutions and achieving a stock based on zero emissions and a fully building by 2050. These facts, and those below, show the importance of the housing sector in energy consumption in general in the European Union:
About 40 % of the energy consumed in the European Union is used in buildings. More than 1/3 of the greenhouse gas emissions in the European Union comes from buildings. +/- 80 % of the energy used in European Union homes is for heating, cooling and hot water.

Legislative framework
To enhance the energy performance of buildings, the European Union has created a legislative framework that includes the performance of the revised energy to guide buildings (European Union/2024/1275) and direct the efficiency of the revised energy (European Union/2023/1791). Together, the directives enhance the policies that will help:
Aachieove High Energy Using Energy Using shares by 2050. create a stable environment for investment decisions. Enabling consumers and companies to make more enlightened options to save energy and money.
EPDB, European energy performance directives
The European Commission suggested that the EPBD guide (EPBD). Safety of fires was mentioned several times in the new EPBD. The main information that appears is that the energy regeneration work is inseparable from the idea of fire safety. In particular, it can be noted that the installation of the main electric loads and the production of electricity such as heat pumps, solar installations, batteries and electric vehicle charging points requires specific attention.
After the legislative process, the final text was approved by the Council on April 12, 2024. The text was published in the official magazine on May 8, 2024 and entered into force after 20 days. The implementation of the renewal projects that this review stimulates with funds such as the Recovery and Flexibility Fund or the Social Climate Fund, as well as traditional financing under the multi -year financial framework.
National Building Renewal Plans (NBRP) must submit recommendations to implement or enhance current plans. National electrical inspection systems should follow the current national wire rules and ensure regular inspection operations for current facilities and when any major electrical equipment is installed (electric vehicle charging point, photovoltaic plate, thermal pump, battery storage system).
Renewal passport
In order to monitor and control the correct application of the regulations, a renewal passport will be created. It is a road map designed for the deep renovation of a specific building in a maximum number of steps that significantly improve energy performance (ART 2.19 definitions).
Renewal passports should be linked to electrical inspection reports. One of the possibilities is to do this via the DBL record. Article 8 of Section 8 of Member States requires to ensure that the renewal passport is stored in or can be accessed via, when available, the digital construction book and electrical inspection reports were identified as a related feature of DBL.
This electrical inspection report will also be a basis for reporting electrical safety requirements in the eighth supplement. Independent units on: V. Technical and safety requirements for materials and businesses.

Environment
In Top Cable, we believe in the need to care for the environment, and for this reason we have conducted various procedures to reduce our active effect. It is all included in the #Movingreen campaign that you can discover more details in this link.
