Hyundai and Kia’s Hot For Ev series, hybrid sales continued in February

Electric vehicle sales of Hyundai grew by 35 % on an annual basis, while KIA increased by 22 %. Ioniq 5, Ioniq 6, Santa Fe Hev and Kia Ev9 were one of the best -selling electrical and hybrid models. Hyundai Tucson and Kia Sportage was one of the best -selling books.

It is time of the month again. Two Korean brands, sales of more hybrid sales and electrical models completely. If this looks familiar, then this is because. Car buyers in the United States can rise the hyundai and electric KIA temperature.

Hyundai set a new record for total car sales in February – including all types of power generation – with 62,032 units sold, an increase of 3 % over the same period last year. Kia also had the best February with the sale of 63,303 units, which is 7.2 % healthy growth on an annual basis.

For Hyundai, two McCroid models set new records: Santa Fe Hev and Ioniq 6. Santa Fe Hev rose by 194 %. Hyundai combines Santa Fe Gas and hybrid sales, so it is not clear that the number of hybrid units have been sold exactly.

Ioniq 6 increased by 12 %, growing from 902 units to 1012 units. While this is a relatively low number, Ioniq 6 sedan has often struggled in sales compared to her brothers in SUVs despite being one of the current EV kings in the American market.

Ioniq 5 continued in the dominant hyundai on EV with a sale of 2442 units, an increase of 22 % on an annual basis. The total sales of electrical vehicles increased by 35 %.

Electric vehicle sales of KIA increased by 22 % and the auto manufacturer says it was the total highest for February ever. The EV9 SUV of three rows of three rows was its fully -selling electricity with 1,360 units, which is 3.1 % growth on an annual basis.

EV6 sales were generally strong, but they decreased marginally in February to 1,275 units, a decrease of 2.6 %. It should be noted that EV6 ranked second in the latest study of JD Power that analyzes the Royal satisfaction of EVS Mass Market, only behind Ioniq 6.

The aggressive leasing offers, which are reinforced by federal tax credit, have played a role in helping Hyundai and KIA to increase EV sales. But the future of tax credit on the ground, as President Trump undertakes to cancel it. If this happens, EV sales may face a different reality. (Only EV6 and EV9 qualify for tax credit so far this year between Hyundai Motor Group.)

On the positive side, most Hyundai and Kia models are designed in the United States or Korea, making it relatively protected from potential definitions on Mexican vehicles and Canada. But Japan, South Korea and the European Union are also at the Trump intersection, so there is nothing guaranteed.

Regardless, Blitz Hyundai and Kia’s Ev prove that when you listen to customers and present what matters, the EV adoption follows. It is not perfect, but it is approaching. Hyundai and KIA models got 800 volts E-GMP to praise its ability to fast charging, its solid scope and the price of a poster that does not break your wallet.
