Through Bz4X, Toyota Hybrid, Hybrid and Vue Cell ventured in the battery electric driver in 2022. So far, the SUV was medium -sized with a maximum battery of 71.4 kilowatts per hour or a 150 kW front driving system or a maximum engine system for all electric motors, each with 80 kW. The maximum DC charging power was 150 kW, and the standard charging process was determined to 80 percent over a period of 30 minutes.
The revised electrical SUV will be launched in the second half of the year. The new BZ4X will be available with two battery options of 57.7 and 73.1 kW per hour (total). The small battery will only be offered with the front -wheel drive, while the largest battery will be optional with four -wheel drive. The WLTP range is expected to increase from 450 to 573 km. According to Toyota, however, this is an initial person. With the new battery option, customers should be able to choose the version that fits their requirements and budgets, the Japanese company says.
Electrical axial drives have also been developed and semiconducts (SIC) will be used in energy electronics. Disk engines should make more efficient (see dramatically the range) but also more powerful. The basic version with the small battery provides 123 kW, while the large battery enhances the power of the front -wheel drive from 150 to 165 kW. In the future, the four -wheel drive version will offer 252 kW of energy, making it one of the most powerful Toyota production models outside the GR sports series.
When it comes to charging, the maximum DC charging power remains at 150 kW, but the pre -enhanced conditions should make it possible to achieve a full shipping performance in a wide range of conditions. The navigation system will continue to include charging planning, which must automatically plan the appropriate charging stations along the way-this function will also be installed in current BZ4X compounds via air updates. For AC charging, a 22 kW charger is served on the high-end equipment levels, which are launched in the shipping times with the current-rotation-on condition that the shipping point is supported 22 kW. As for the release of the four -wheel drive, the maximum permitted diameter weight has been doubled to 1500 kg.
The design has been modified slightly inside and out, but BZ4X still can be recognized in this way. According to Toyota, the Central Control Unit was completely redesigned, and the tool board has also been redesigned. The 14 -inch multimedia screen in the middle is now standard equipment.
C-HR+ comes with almost the same technology
Based on the revised etnga (the new generation structure of the new Toyota), BZ4X will be linked to a second model in the future: the new C-HR+, whose name takes from a current combustion/hybrid model, is purely electrical, and aims to be a “learning model in Toyota Bev Suv comfortable”. C-HR+ is scheduled to come to the market at the end of 2025.
“+” In the name symbolizes “the ingenuity and functions of the model and the unique characteristics of the Bev Movement Group.” The movement group, which contains two battery options and three energy levels of 123, 165 and 252 kW, is the same as BZ4X, but with one difference: the large C-HR+ battery option contains a total power content of 77 kW, which must provide a range of up to 600 km (again, initial value). The smaller battery remains at 57.7 kW an hour. The maximum DC charging capacity is also 150 kW. To charge AC, 11 kW charger is standard; For high -end equipment, the new 22 kW charger is also available here.
The body is designed slightly compared to BZ4X and features such as a spoiler on the surface and the spoiler lip in the back to improve the aerodynamics, as Toyota aims to achieve a soft air flow around the body. At the same time, 4.52 meters SUVs are also designed to present a wide interior design; Toyota states that the size of the shoe is 416 liters.
To persuade new arrivals of C-HR+battery cars, Toyota wants to provide a ten-year or millions of kilometers warranty with a battery care program-however, an annual “battery health examination” is a prerequisite for this purpose. Otherwise, the familiar warranty is applied for eight years or 160,000 km.
As the premiere of the third electrical body, Toyota also presented the urban cruise. SUVs aim to Part B, one category below Bz4X and C-HR+. This model is the product of collaboration with suzuki: Urban Cruiser uses the same technology as E-Vitara in SUZUKI, and both complexes will be built together in India for global markets.
Toyota also offers a battery and three copies of the drive from the urban cruise – in the same gradient. The small battery-in this case is available with 49 kWh-only with a front engine of 106 kW, and the WLTP range is expected to be about 300 km. With a 61 kW battery per hour, the front -wheel drive model provides 128 kW, with a range of about 400 km according to WLTP, which is the alternative with the longest range. The SUV with this battery provides 135 kW, and Toyota assumes a range of about 350 km here.
Both battery options in Urban Cruiser will use strong LFP cells. However, the battery guarantee is the same: if you want ten years or a million kilometers of peace of mind (or a 70 percent guaranteed healthy condition after this time), you should also participate in the annual “battery health check”.
Toyota has not announced the prices of any of the models so far.
