Given that April is the first month of the second quarter, the expectations were high that Tesla China was allocating Giga Shanghai Vehicle Export Production. With 10300 registrations in the week ending April 27, the local delivery operations of the company appear to escalate again.

Tesla China does not report weekly sales numbers, although a general idea of ​​the company’s general installation in the local auto sector can be deduced through new vehicle records. Fortunately, these records are closely tracked by industry monitors, as well as some local auto manufacturers such as Li Auto.

Tesla Model 3 and Model y in focus

Tesla China produces the Y and Model 3 in Giga Shanghai. Both cars are also exported from China to foreign regions. According to industry monitors, both Model 3 and Model Y witnessed an increase in records in the week ending April 27.
