Xiaomi started its first YU7 delivery operations in 58 cities across China, with its founder personally handing vehicles to some owners. Yu7 waiting times were extended in all fields, while the SU7 series witnessed an acronym.

Xiaomi (HKG: 1810, OTCMKTS: XIAI) began to introduce Yu7, but production restrictions have extended waiting times for the first electric sports car (sports interest vehicle) to 14 months.
Xiaomi EV, the ECT unit for smartphones (EV), announced today on Weibo that the first delivery of YU7 has started, with the founder of Xiaomi, the president, and CEO of Lei Jun personally delivering vehicles to some owners.
Xiaomi EV did not reveal the number of YU7 vehicles that were delivered in the first batch, but said that deliveries began today in 58 cities across China.
With current delivery operations, YU7 has increased.
Customers who buy the standard version of Yu7 now face a waiting period ranging from 59 and 62 weeks for delivery, up from 58 to 61 weeks to Friday, according to daily monitoring by CNEVPOST.
For variables from Yu7-PRO and Max- The last waiting times are 53-56 weeks and 45-48 weeks, respectively, from 51 to 54 weeks and 39-42 weeks.
Meanwhile, waiting time for the novice version of the first Xiaomi model, SU7 Sedan, also increased, while the two variables with the highest price have seen shorter waiting times.
The SU7 standard version now has a waiting time from 38-41 weeks, which is slightly higher than 33-36 weeks previously. SU7 Pro now has a waiting time between 35 and 38 weeks, which is 49-52 weeks previous; SU7 Max is 33-36 weeks, down from 38-41 weeks previous; Su7 Ultra is 15-18 weeks, a decrease from 18-21 weeks.
After Yu7’s launch, there were fears that the SUV may put SU7 orders, but Lei has reduced these concerns.
He told me during a direct video on July 2, that less than 15 percent of the total Yu7 orders were transferred from SU7 and SU7 Ultra.
Xiaomi Yu7 was launched on June 26, put it as a competitor to Tesla (Nasdaq: TSLA) Y. The three variables start from 253,500 yuan ($ 35,380), 279,900 yuan, and 329 rupees.
YU7 200,000 has received fixed requests in the first three minutes of sales and more than 240,000 closed requests within 18 hours, Xiaomi previously announced.
Xiaomi has already produced some YU7 vehicles and allowed consumers to lock requests directly, allowing a quick start to deliver.
The company was not previously mentioned when the delivery of customized YU7 compounds begins, although its mobile application previously indicates that this will happen in August.
The launch of Yu7 increases the challenges of the production capacity of Xiaomi. Currently, the company’s operating factory is the first stage of its EV factory in Beijing, with an annual production capacity of 150,000 units.
Starting in June 2024, the factory began in the first phase in implementing the production of binary bees to meet the demand for its first model, the SU7 series.
Last week, the Media Outlet Sina Tech stated that the Xiaomi EV factory for the second stage was hiring widely to prepare for mass production.
Previous reports from some local media indicated that the project of the second stage of the factory will be completed by mid -June and production officially began in July to August.
