Rochdale-based QDOS, fire safety experts and the UK’s leading commercial supplier of bespoke fire safety plans, has announced the launch of a pioneering new product, dynamicZM.
Designed to transform fire safety management, DynamicZM is a premium alternative to traditional LED fire zone simulators. Operating as a third party, Dynamic Zone mimic® is compatible with a range of fire alarm control systems.
This innovative solution took four years and a six-figure investment in manufacturing and uses a large LCD screen to automatically display the active fire alarm zone plan during an alarm event but can be programmed to display other media when not in active use. This eliminates the need for user intervention and ensures clear identification of the area(s) in the event of an alarm, allowing unparalleled visibility during emergency situations.
The DynamicZM system can be used in any commercial environment but is particularly suitable for education, hospitality, office and retail settings due to its ability to display corporate, sales or marketing messages.
The system is also well-suited to industrial environments, allowing critical health and safety information to be displayed and constantly updated. If a fire alarm is activated, dynamicZM can automatically display the source of the alarm clearly, aiding rapid response and evacuation. Developed by Damian Linley, founder and CEO of QDOS, and fire alarm technical expert David Greenwood, DynamicZM represents the culmination of more than 40 years of industry experience and a six-figure investment by QDOS. Greenwood’s extensive knowledge and respected position in the fire safety industry has played an integral role in product development.
Damian Linley, Founder and CEO, said: “dynamicZM is a major leap forward in fire safety technology, providing clear and immediate situational awareness during fire emergencies. This technology enables facility managers, building occupiers and fire safety professionals to take action. Decisive action.
“Traditional LED simulators have been around for decades, with little innovation, but DynamicZM offers something infinitely different for media updates. It’s easily adaptable to any environment, doubling as a sales or information display with clear information automatically projected into the event for emergency situations. Eliminates any confusion for employees, customers or visitors.
