The 300,000th ES6 is expected to be delivered later this month. The ES6 has been Nio’s best-selling model for several years, although the ET5 Touring has overtaken its position in recent months.

Nio Inc. (NYSE: NIO) has reached production of its 300,000th ES6 electric utility vehicle (Sports Utility Vehicle), marking a milestone for one of its best-selling flagship models.
On November 1, the 300,000th Nio ES6 officially rolled off the production line, the Chinese electric car manufacturer announced on Weibo.
Among the Chinese brand’s pure electric models priced above 300,000 yuan ($42,150), the ES6 is the best-seller and the first to reach 300,000 units produced, Niu said.
The ES6 has reshaped the landscape of China’s mid-size luxury SUV market, she wrote on Weibo.
Delivery of the 300,000th ES6 is expected to be completed later this month, taking into account logistics and other considerations.
The ES6 delivered 2,930 units in September, bringing total deliveries to 289,912 units as of the end of September, according to data compiled by CnEVPost.
The SUV currently offers just one model in China, starting at CNY 338,000, including a 100 kWh battery pack.
As Nio’s second mass-produced model after the ES8 SUV, the ES6 has been the electric car maker’s best-selling vehicle for years, although its position has been overtaken by the ET5 Touring station wagon in recent months.
The ET5 Touring delivered 5,048 units in September, maintaining its position as Nio’s best-selling model by monthly volume and surpassing the ES6 for the fourth month in a row.
