Tesla has announced the delivery schedule for the Cybertruck as it heads into a new market.
Deliveries of the Tesla Cybertruck began in the US and Canada in late 2023. However, the company has been looking to expand the all-electric truck range to new markets, including the Middle East, for which it opened orders earlier this year.
Initially, Tesla planned to launch deliveries late this year, but there has been a slight adjustment to the timeline, and the company now expects the truck to make its way to first adopters in the UAE in the first quarter of 2026.
This was confirmed by the lead engineer of the Tesla Cybertruck program, Wes Morell:
almost! Estimated deliveries in the first quarter for the UAE

Tesla opened orders for the Cybertruck for the first time in the Middle East in mid-September this year. The price of the car will be AED 404,900 for the dual-motor all-wheel drive variant (US$110,254) and AED 454,900 (US$123,869) for the Cyberbeast version.
The Cybertruck has been a highly anticipated vehicle in many parts of the world, but its ability to sell in different regions is what is causing a real delay in the company’s efforts to bring the electric pickup worldwide.

In Europe, various agencies have objected to the Cybertruck’s design, arguing that it is unsafe for pedestrians due to its sharp edges and “boxy” design.
EU agencies said the car’s “blade-like” protrusions were a violation of rules prohibiting sharp outer edges that could cause serious injury.
In Asia, Tesla will likely have to develop a smaller, more compact version of the car because it does not meet local standards for urban environments. However, Tesla applied for energy consumption approval for the Cybertruck in December 2024, but there has been no real update on the status of that particular inquiry.
Overall, these issues highlight a real bottleneck in future vehicle designs and outdated regulations that prevent the vehicle from becoming more widely available. Of course, Tesla has teased some other designs, including a more traditional pickup or even a compact Cybertruck build, but the company isn’t one to shy away from its commitments.
However, the Cybertruck will make its Middle East debut in 2026.
