Elon Musk described Apple devices with ChatGPT as a security breach. During Apple’s annual developer conference (WWDC), it announced the integration of Apple Intelligence and ChatGPT with iOS 18.
With Apple iOS 18, Siri can use OpenAI’s ChatGPT to respond to customer requests. ChatGPT’s integration with Siri is part of Apple Intelligence, which is the company’s method Introducing artificial intelligence in its devices.
“With OpenAI’s ChatGPT integrated into Siri and Writing Tools, you can get more experience when it’s most useful to you — no need to navigate between tools. Siri can leverage ChatGPT for specific requests, including questions about images or documents,” Apple explained. With writing tools, you can create and illustrate original content from scratch.
If Apple integrates OpenAI at the OS level, Apple devices in my company will be blocked. This is an unacceptable security violation.
