Elon Musk described Apple devices with ChatGPT as a security breach. During Apple’s annual developer conference (WWDC), it announced the integration of Apple Intelligence and ChatGPT with iOS 18.

With Apple iOS 18, Siri can use OpenAI’s ChatGPT to respond to customer requests. ChatGPT’s integration with Siri is part of Apple Intelligence, which is the company’s method Introducing artificial intelligence in its devices.

“With OpenAI’s ChatGPT integrated into Siri and Writing Tools, you can get more experience when it’s most useful to you — no need to navigate between tools. Not everyone seems happy with Apple’s decision to integrate ChatGPT with Siri. Among them is Elon Musk. Tesla CEO is considering banning Apple devices in his companies if Apple integrates ChatGPT at the operating system level. Musk considers the integration of ChatGPT into Apple devices at the operating system level an “unacceptable security breach.”

Elon Musk added: “Visitors will have to check their Apple devices at the door, where they will be stored in a Faraday cage.”
