With PANOS III, Zumtobel remains true to the three tried and tested principles of its award-winning downlight family: best possible light quality, flexibility and energy efficiency.

Thanks to its modular design, this generation is well suited for offices, educational facilities and cultural sites. A variety of sizes, shapes, beam characteristics and acoustic options are available, so there are no limits to the architectural creativity possible with PANOS III. Not only do these downlights blend seamlessly into any interior ambience, they also connect to the building’s digital ecosystem – with built-in daylighting controls and presence detection. Their durability and low lumen value make these bulbs more sustainable.

Zumtobel’s new PANOS III lamp family combines versatility with excellent light quality and sustainability. With its clean design and numerous mounting options, this simple, versatile device blends harmoniously into modern interiors, whether as a statement piece at a reception desk or as a subtle wayfinding aid in a museum. In keeping with the new working principles, new flat and round pendant luminaires bring a homely feel to workplaces. A slim cylindrical pendant solution for functional and architectural lighting tasks completes the PANOS III range.

Maximum versatility with consistent light quality

To cover a wide range of applications, the PANOS III is available in multiple sizes, shapes and LED variants. For maximum design freedom, customers can choose built-in, surface-mounted, surface-mounted or suspended options. Luminaires can be mounted on plastered surfaces or integrated into the track. In combination with TECTON or three-phase tracks, suspended versions can be repositioned in an instant, making them ideal for dynamic new workspaces.

Despite this flexibility, light quality remains reliably constant. PANOS III technology delivers high-quality white light with excellent color rendering (CRI > 90) and luminous efficacy of up to 159 lm/W. Precision molded polycarbonate reflectors, refined using spray technology, direct light exactly where it’s needed. With a mounting depth of only 100 or 120 mm, the PANOS III is a flat downlight with high visual comfort and glare control UGR < 19. A minimum mounting depth of 70 or 75 mm is achieved using PANOS LOW reflectors. Depending on the requirement and room size, all ceiling lights are available in 150mm and 200mm diameter.

Light that looks good

Modern offices must balance collaboration and focus. PANOS III technology supports both: lighting quality displays naturally saturated red tones, while acoustic performance can be enhanced through integration with baffle ceilings. Additionally, Zumtobel offers custom audio fleece covers for the PANOS III. These effectively absorb noise and are available in 19 different colors to suit any decor. Combining acoustics and light in a thin ceiling element reduces materials and installation effort – while improving aesthetics and focus.

Sustainability – more than the sum of its parts

All PANOS III modular elements: drivers, LED panels, reflectors, mounting rings and heat sinks can be replaced without the need for major conversion work, allowing quick upgrades and refurbishments. PANOS III uniquely combines beauty, comfort and sustainability: after 50,000 hours of operation, the maximum reduction in luminous flux reaches only 10% (L90); After 100,000 hours, the maximum can be reduced by 20% (L80).

Sustainability is also supported by D4i-compatible sensor technology built into the light room for demand-oriented, future-proof lighting management. It provides insight into luminaire status, room occupancy, daylight levels, energy consumption and more. Zumtobel’s LightingGO lighting management platform uses this real-time information as a smart cockpit, providing access to all components in the Zumtobel ecosystem: luminaires, sensors and Venetian blinds.

Have you been in a car accident? The next step is to file a car accident claim. It’s the perfect time to get scammed. You have injuries. You have damage to the car. You have insurance companies. You have the papers. You need compensation. Here’s the worst part, the majority of people who file car accident claims don’t even know what they’re entitled to or how to collect it.

The good news is that it doesn’t have to be this way. In fact, filing a car accident claim and obtaining maximum compensation can be a straightforward process. If you know the right steps to take and the right questions to ask.

In this article you will learn:

What is a car accident claim? Financial Impact: Car Accident Statistics Types of Compensation You Can Get in a Car Accident Claim How to File a Car Accident Claim Common Mistakes That Ruin Car Accident Claims

https://pixabay.com/photos/crash-car-car-crash-accident-1308575/

1. What is a car accident claim?

A car accident claim is a claim for compensation after a collision.

When a negligent driver hurts you or damages your car, you have the right to seek compensation for damages. This can include medical bills, lost wages, property damage, pain and suffering, and other losses. It is a way of making the person who caused the accident “right” for what they did.

Most people also don’t realize that not all claims are made the same. Some of them are taken care of through insurance companies. Others go to court. The procedure varies depending on the circumstances. It also depends on factors such as fault, severity of injury, and liability coverage.

Financial Impact: Car accident statistics

You’re probably thinking, “Cars don’t get into many accidents.”

Not true.

In fact, statistics indicate that there are about 6 million car accidents annually in the United States alone. This means an average of 16,500 accidents occur every day of the year. If you are involved in a car accident claim, you are not alone, and it is important that you understand your rights to receive full compensation.

Speaking of financial impact, car accidents aren’t cheap either. Average compensation on bodily injury claims increased to $27,373 in 2024. This represents an 8% increase from the previous year. This shows you why it is important to file a claim and get maximum full compensation.

2. Types of compensation available in car accident claims

Are you wondering what kind of money you are entitled to after an accident?

Compensation for a car accident is divided into categories. Let’s review them so you understand what you can and should claim.

Economic damages

These are the costs you’ll actually have to pay out of pocket:

Medical expenses (hospital bills, doctors, surgery, therapy) Lost wages due to missed time at work Future medical costs for ongoing treatment Car repair or replacement Property damage (aside from your car)

Non-economic damages

These are the most substantive types of loss I have experienced:

Pain and suffering Emotional distress Loss of enjoyment of life Permanent disability or disfigurement Loss of a mate (impact on the relationship)

Most people focus exclusively on medical bills and property damage. Don’t make this mistake. All of these types of losses must be taken into account in your claim.

3. How to file your car accident claim: Step by step

It’s time to get to work on that car accident claim. Here’s exactly what you need to do.

Document everything at the scene

If possible, you need to start collecting evidence from the scene of the accident:

Take photos of both vehicles, injuries, and surrounding road conditions Obtain contact information for any witnesses Obtain the official police report Keep detailed records of all medical treatments

The more documentation you can gather, the greater your chances of collecting maximum compensation. The evidence forms the basis of your entire claim. Without it, it is almost impossible to prove your case.

Notify your insurance company as soon as possible

Report the accident to your insurance company within 24-48 hours. Here’s the most important part of that conversation: Don’t admit fault or speculate about what happened. Insurance company officials are trained to use your exact words against you later. Stick to the facts, and that’s it.

Calculate total damages

You need to total all your expenses. This is the basis for settlement negotiations. Typically, you will see a very low initial offer from the insurance company.

Total of all medical expenses (current and future) Loss of income and earning capacity Property damage costs Outside expenses Non-economic losses

The higher your costs, the more money you can claim in settlement. The key here is to demand everything you are owed. Don’t shortchange yourself.

Negotiate or file a lawsuit

If the insurance company won’t budge on a fair settlement, your next step is to file a lawsuit.

Insurance companies thrive on accident victims who give in and accept everything they offer. Don’t be one of those people. The best way to respond is to have an attorney by your side. A good one will know how to properly evaluate your claim, negotiate with insurance companies and when to file a lawsuit.

4. Common mistakes that ruin car accident claims

Are you ready to learn the quickest ways to stop your claim?

Long wait for the file

Each state has a deadline (statute of limitations) for filing a claim, usually 2 to 4 years. Wait after this date and you will automatically lose your right to compensation. Don’t wait just because you “think you have time.”

Accept the first offer

Insurance companies are commercial companies. Their goal is to make a profit by paying as little as possible. This first offer you receive is not fair at all. It should get you off their books as quickly as possible. Don’t accept that. Wait and ask for more.

Posting on social media

Attention to car accident victims. Insurance companies are watching. That selfie of you smiling on a family outing? They will argue that your injuries shouldn’t be that bad. Anything you post on social media can be used against your claim.

Not seeing a doctor

Refusing to see a doctor or delaying medical treatment is a red flag. Even if you “feel fine”, it is essential that you go for a medical examination. Some injuries (concussions, for example) do not show symptoms for several days or weeks. It is also necessary to create a medical paper record of your claim.

The role of professional legal assistance

The truth that most people find out the hard way is that trying to handle a car accident claim on your own puts you at a severe disadvantage. Insurance companies have entire teams of lawyers and claims adjusters dedicated to minimizing the amount they pay. They are professionals whose entire job is to deny or reduce your claim.

A skilled lawyer levels the playing field. They know how to properly evaluate a claim, collect and preserve evidence and when to file a lawsuit. They know how to fight hard. When it comes to collecting full and maximum compensation, the statistics are clear. Accident victims who retain an attorney typically receive settlements 3.5 times higher than those who go it alone.

Wrap this

Car accident claims are not something to be taken lightly.

The process involves different steps, time constraints, and aggressive, profit-seeking insurance companies. Education is key. Understanding your rights and the full scope of compensation to which you may be entitled is critical in obtaining full and maximum compensation.

He remembers:

Document everything, starting at the scene of the accident Never accept the first settlement offer from the insurance company Seek medical treatment immediately after the accident Stay away from social media or at least stay quiet about the accident you were involved in Consider professional legal representation

With a total of 39,345 traffic deaths recorded in 2024, car accidents are a serious problem that affects thousands of American families every year. If you or someone you know has been in an accident, taking the right steps from the beginning can make a big difference in your physical and financial recovery.

Don’t let insurance companies beat you during a vulnerable period. Educate yourself, protect your rights, and fight for what you deserve.

PEA RIDGE, AR October 01, 2025 – Press Features –

Bow Tie Solutions, a Pea Ridge-based electrical contractor, today announced the launch of a Residential Electrical Safety Initiative designed to address concerns of aging infrastructure and increased power grid instability affecting homeowners in Northwest Arkansas.

This initiative comes in response to recent utility data showing a 35 percent increase in power surge incidents across Benton, Madison and Washington counties over the past 18 months. The program includes regular electrical assessments, surge protection installations, and panel upgrade services for residential properties throughout the region.

“Northwest Arkansas has seen significant growth in residential development, while much of the existing housing stock is still running on electrical systems that were installed decades ago,” said Bill Towler, owner of Bow Tie Solutions. “This initiative provides homeowners with access to current electrical safety technologies and helps identify potential hazards before they lead to property damage or safety incidents.”

The company has allocated resources for additional technical training in the field of residential electrical diagnostics and modern protection systems. The initiative includes electrical system assessments, code compliance assessments, and the implementation of protective measures tailored to individual property requirements.

Bow Tie Solutions’ services for residential electricians under the new initiative include diagnostic testing of existing electrical infrastructure, identification of outdated components, and installation of surge protection devices. The program addresses common household electrical problems including overloaded circuits, outdated wiring, and inadequate grounding systems that may pose risks to modern electronic equipment.

The safety initiative involves a systematic approach to residential electrical upgrades, starting with a comprehensive system analysis and documentation of current conditions. Technicians evaluate panel capacitance, circuit load, and wiring condition to make specific recommendations for each feature.

Bow Tie Solutions electrical wiring assessments are a key component of the initiative, as technicians inspect visible and hidden wiring systems for signs of deterioration, improper installation or code violations. The company has developed standardized inspection protocols based on National Electrical Code requirements and industrial safety standards.

Recent weather events in Northwest Arkansas have highlighted vulnerabilities in residential electrical systems. Lightning strikes and ice storms caused widespread power outages, with many homes sustaining equipment damage due to voltage fluctuations when power was restored. The initiative addresses these vulnerabilities by installing whole-home surge protection systems and upgrading panels designed to handle modern electrical loads.

The program also includes educational components for homeowners, providing information on electrical safety practices, warning signs of electrical problems, and maintenance recommendations. This educational approach aims to reduce electrical-related accidents and help homeowners make informed decisions about upgrading their electrical system.

Bow Tie Solutions has been a licensed electrical contractor serving Northwest Arkansas for over four decades. The company maintains certifications for residential, commercial and industrial electrical work. Services include new building wiring, renovation projects, generator installations, and emergency electrical repairs. The company employs licensed electricians who receive ongoing training in electrical codes and safety procedures.

PEA RIDGE, AR October 01, 2025 – Press Features –

Bow Tie Solutions, a Pea Ridge-based electrical contractor, today announced the launch of a residential electrical safety initiative designed to address aging infrastructure concerns and increased power grid instability affecting homeowners in Northwest Arkansas.
