We sat this month with the NexStar Brad Summer executive coach to learn more about his background, the trip that I brought to Nexstar, and about some things that interest him more.
Q: Where and when did your start in trading?
A: I started in Corley Pae in Greenville, SC in February 2021. Six months later, she accepted the role of HVAC sales manager. I also served in the leadership team!
Q: What brought you to Nexstar?
A: The store where I was (and still!) Was a member of Nexstar. The former work colleague had a job in Nexstar. The opportunity arose, so I went to it! The need to return the favor to an industry that gave me a lot at this short time – and still – what makes me continues.
Q: Is there someone who inspired your journey in deals?
A: I am! You need to change from my previous industry, and the opportunity to expand my horizons in deals that have provided themselves in the perfect time. I can also not forget to remember that another friend of Corley at the time gave me the opportunity and encouraged me to progress.
Q: What are some functional features that were important in directing you to your role as a coach?
A: The leadership of my sales department and the installation of two record months during the summer of 2022 was large! We created a culture of doing better for our employees, which was the best for our customers. Aside from this, I also received a prize for my leadership with helping to improve our book.
Q: How does your usual day look like a coach?
A: Preparation is the first step. I am awake at 3:30 am (yes, I know!) To work, eat, and keep some time for peace and thought, then review my day. Once training calls start, bring as much energy as possible to maintain high spirits, regardless of what is going on in my organs. I also have consistent conversations with my colleagues of NexStar coaches to keep my positive and high energy!
Q: What is the best part of your work and why?
A: The success of our members. They put at work and achieve their goals. The thanks we receive as a wonderful coach, but we are not from us without our members.

Q: What is the greatest great power?
A: Building relationships and trust! I am blue on the color icon, so when I meet a new member (or anyone for this), I would like to take time to get to know them and know everything about it!
Q: What do you do to relax when you are not at work?
A: Most of my time is absorbed by my children, Lucas and Olivia. We go to the garden and play table games often. This season is busy, as Lucas is in his third season of the small baseball game and Olivia in its first season of the soft ball. On the rare occasion I find the time for myself, I would like to play the golf game! I am also at the gym at least five days a week.
Q: What are some of your passion?
A: Contribute to everything I can to help people become the best versions for themselves. Leaving a permanent positive effect on everyone who faces it is important to me, but I can only do it if I am the best copy of myself. Take care of myself and being the best version of myself is vital.
